EVERYDAY BITES / RECIPE 001
3-Ingredient Chocolate Crunch Cups
Crispy chocolate-coated cornflakes with a creamy peanut butter center. Three ingredients, no baking, and an extremely satisfying chocolate crunch.
Ingredients
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 100 g cornflakes
- 6 tsp creamy peanut butter
Preparation
- 1.Melt the dark chocolate gently until smooth.
- 2.Place the cornflakes in a mixing bowl and pour over the melted chocolate.
- 3.Fold gently until the cornflakes are completely coated without crushing them.
- 4.Spoon a layer of the chocolate-cornflake mixture into 6 lined muffin cups.
- 5.Use the back of a teaspoon to make a small hollow in the center of each cup.
- 6.Add approximately 1 teaspoon of creamy peanut butter into each center.
- 7.Cover completely with another spoonful of chocolate-coated cornflakes.
- 8.Press very lightly so each cup holds together while keeping the cornflakes crunchy.
- 9.Refrigerate until completely firm, approximately 30–45 minutes.
- 10.Remove from the liners and serve chilled or allow them to sit for a few minutes before eating.
Pro Tip
Don't crush the cornflakes while mixing. Keeping the flakes intact is what gives the final cup its big CRACK and crunchy texture.
